Coolant System Maintenance Is Key To Keeping Your Vehicle Running At The Right Temp

January 31st, 2018 by

Everyone knows that their engine runs at extremely high temperatures. That is why you have your coolant system integrated. If your engine overheats it can cause permanent damage. And with the high temperatures and stress that is on that cooling system to prevent that damage, it is important to make sure and do your regular coolant system maintenance in order to ensure that system doesn't fail you.

A coolant flush involves draining all of the old coolants from the system to begin with. Then a hose is attached to both ends of the system and it is power flushed. Doing this helps to remove any dirt, sludge, and rust buildup that may have occurred in between maintenance cycles. The coolant is then replaced with all new clean fluid.

If it has been a while since your last coolant flush, then bring your car, truck, or SUV into our service department here at Walt Massey Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM and we will make sure your car, truck or SUV is running at peak efficiency.
